Sarafovo is a quiet place of unspoiled beauty. Originally founded as a village by Thracian refugees, it has now become famous for its beautiful houses - preferred by local people as a comfortable place to live and, by tourists, as a relaxed, children-friendly destination ideally suited to family holidays. At present Sarafovo is a district of Bourgas, situated on the Black Sea coast just outside the old city limits, on the road from Bourgas to Sunny Beach, Bulgaria's largest and most popular seaside resort.
Sarafovo enjoys a 4 km long beach of fine sands with high content of iron titanate that is used for curing rheumatism, arthritis, etc. Here the water is warm and nice until October, which significantly prolongs the tourist season. The sea bottom here is almost even, which is favorable for children and people with no swimming skills. Sarafovo is close to a number of resorts, which can be easily reached due to a well-developed infrastructure. The International airport of Bourgas is adjacent to Sarafovo.
Some 3 km south of the Sarafovo District is situated the Nature Reserve Atanasovsko Ezero. The lake is a home for more than 300 species of birds that migrate, winter and nest here. PRICES

Every owner of property in Bulgaria pays an annual real estate tax and local communal tax the amount of which depends on the size of the property.
